The purpose of this Essay Contest is to allow creative minds of all ages and educational levels the platform to capture the meaning of the 40th MN Hmong New Year. THEME: Passing the Torch. Each writer must stitch all three—the past, the present, and the future—into one coherent, compelling, and beautiful tapestry that serves as a catalyst for uniting and empowering the Hmong community.
